nbchurch exists so that people who are far from God can be brought near to God through faith in Jesus Christ.

Our Vision

Our vision is to see lives transformed by the power, grace, and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. From the very start when the name of the church was given to us as New Beginnings, our heart is for the people to experience and walk in a new beginning with Jesus. Throughout the Bible we learn that He is the God who makes all things new.

Our Mission

We will be the church where people encounter the LOVE of God and are equipped to LIVE out God’s purpose and plan for their life so that they can LEAD others to Him.

Core Values

01

From Creation to Revelation, the Bible tells of His rescue mission & pursuit of us. The birth, life, death, resurrection of Jesus & His power to work in our lives today is our message.

JESUS IS OUR MESSAGE

02

People matter to God so they matter to us. We desire to see the lost be found, the broken made whole & the hurting find healing in Jesus.

PEOPLE ARE OUR HEART

We are generous with our time, talents & our treasure. Jesus gave His best to us; it is our honor to give in return.

GIVING IS OUR PRIVILEGE

03

04

EXCELLENCE IS OUR SPIRIT

We cannot do everything perfectly but what we do will be with excellence.

05

If you’re too big to serve than you are too small to lead. Every role is different but they are all important. The words we hope to hear in Heaven are; “Well done, thou good & faithful servant.” God looks at how we serve not our title. Do everything with a servant’s heart.

SERVANT LEADER IS OUR IDENTITY

06

HONOR IS OUR CALLING

We are vocal with our honor, meaning we do not hold back our words. We choose to joyfully submit to leadership & are thankful for the spiritual authority that God has placed over us. We honor and care for those that God has placed under us.

07

PASSION IS OUR PURSUIT

Everything we do, we do with passion. From how we worship to how we serve, we do it with Holy Spirit energy & purpose. We are driven with a passion for Jesus, people, and His church.

What We Believe

  • We believe in the absolute inspiration of the Holy Scriptures given by the Holy Spirit without error, as He moved upon men of old. Furthermore, we believe that the church has no authority to establish doctrine or practice contrary to those same scriptures, which were subsequently accepted as canon by the early Christian Church. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21)

  • We believe in one God, eternally revealed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 13:14; I John 5:7)

  • We believe Jesus Christ was born of a virgin and is Emmanuel (“God with us”) Jesus is the promised Messiah. (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:22-23, John 1:14)

  • We believe there is only one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ. (John 14:6, 1 Timothy 2:5)

  • We believe Jesus Christ is the head of the church, and that the name of Jesus is the only name God has exalted and given to the church, and the only name to which the Spirit bears witness. (Colossians 1:18, Acts 4:12, Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19, Acts 2:38, Colossians 3:17, Philippians 2:9)

  • We believe Jesus died for our sins, rose again the third day, ascended on high, and is now seated at the right hand of God, and that God has made Jesus both Lord and Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Ephesians 4:8-10, Hebrews 1:3, Acts 2:36)

  • We believe that man was made in the image of God and is the crown of creation. He is now, by reason of the fall, spiritually depraved and alienated from his Creator. Apart from God’s grace he has no ability to attain this high calling. (Genesis 1:27, Romans 3:23-24)

  • We believe that justification is by grace through faith in our Lord’s sacrifice on Calvary. Furthermore, we believe in the total depravity of all mankind and the necessity of salvation through regeneration. (Romans 4:25, Romans 5:1; 12-18)

  • We believe that every believer should be identified with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection through water baptism. (Matthew 3:13-17, Mark 16:16)

  • We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in all believers, conforming them to the image of Jesus Christ. (John 15:26; 16:13, Romans 8:9, 14, 16, 26-29)

  • We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is an endowment of power subsequent to conversion, given by God to anoint the believer for Christian living and evangelism. (Acts 1:4-8; 2:1-4, Galatians 3:14; 5:22-24)

  • We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit as enumerated in 1 Corinthians 12- 14, and as manifested in the early Church. These gifts are to be operated decently and in order. (1 Corinthians 12:7-11, 14:40)

  • We believe in the healing of the body by Divine Power, or Divine healing in its varied aspects practiced in the Early Church. (Acts 4:30, Romans 8:11, 1 Corinthians 12:9, James 5:1)

  • We believe in the Table of the Lord, commonly called Communion or the Lord’s Supper, for believers. (1 Corinthians 11:28-32)

  • We believe that the New Testament Church should be structured under the leadership of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, elders, and deacons, as God placed them in the local assembly and the universal church. (Ephesians 4:11-14, 1 Timothy 3:1-13, Titus 1:5)

  • We believe in the Spirit-filled life, a life of separation from the world, sexual purity, and perfection of holiness in the fear of God, the institution of marriage between one man and one woman by God, and the fulfillment of the individual believer’s destiny and prosperity as an expression of Christian faith. (Genesis 2:21-25, Ephesians 5:18, 1 Corinthians 7:2, 2 Corinthians 6:14; 7:1, Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 8:28-32, 3 John 2)

  • We believe that Jesus Christ will return visibly and in power to the earth and will present unto Himself a victorious and glorious church. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost, the eternal judgement of Satan and his angels. (Matthew 25:41, John 3:17-18, Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 22:12-13)
